Voter Registration:
Online Registration: before October 18
Register to Vote by Mail: postmarked by October 6
Register to vote in person at your County election authority’s office starting in October through Nov. 3rd. Check here for locations.
Vote by Mail:
Request a VBM ballot: by October 29
Return your VBM ballot: postmarked by November 3rd
You can also return your VBM ballots by placing them in your County’s 24/7 secure ballot drop box, which are placed at the following locations:
Champaign County:
Brookens Administrative Building (in the circle drive)
Champaign Public Library (north of the mailbox on State Street)
Champaign Public Library - Douglass Branch (in the circle drive)
Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (at the top of the circle drive)
Urbana Public Library (in the circle drive)
Northwest corner of the UIUC Quad (by foot or bike only)
Douglas County:
East side of the Court House (Tuscola)
Edgar County:
No drop boxes

Am I registered to vote?
Check here to see if you’re registered to vote at your current address. If you’re turning 18 before November 3, 2020, you’re eligible to vote!

Yes! If you’re registered to vote in Illinois, you are eligible to vote by mail this election. You can request a ballot online here.
Request your ballot as soon as possible! Ballots must be requested by October 29th.
You can return your filled out ballot to your local election authority or place it in your local drop box (locations listed above).
